The Milestones Contest [closed]

The results are here! First of all, I want to congratulate everybody who entered: like I said, the entries were gorgeous and amazing and it was really difficult to pick the winners. Secondly, regarding the voting, I picked the winners according to the votes via notes that I collected the past week and I used the poll to define the ties. Therefore, the winners are not exactly the people who got more votes in the poll. Three people were tied in first place, so the poll defined first, second and third place for those

3rd place: A Sleepless Night"Daddy?"
The voice came quietly but perfectly audibly through the darkness and Ron sighed slightly as he opened the door to his daughter's bedroom.
"Rosie? – what are you still doing up sweetheart?"
In the orange glow of her night lamp, he could just see her peeking out from the top of her bed clothes, a pale little face under her curly mop of red hair, her brown eyes with the wide, glazed look of someone tired beyond sleepiness. They blinked slowly as she answered.
"I couldn't sleep … could you tell me a story?"
He sighed again and rubbed a hand exhaustedly over his face, but he knew better than to refuse. If Rose said she couldn't sleep without a story then she couldn't sleep without a story, just lie awake and come down the next morning in an almost hypnotic state that was hard to get her out of.
"Just a short one, then. Do you want anything to drink?"

The nineteen years gap between the final chapter and the Epilogue in Deathly Hallows left a lot of moments untold, many unanswered questions, and above all, a burning thirst for more Ron and Hermione love.
But we are going to see this as an opportunity to discover those moments and paint them with our own colours, sing them with our own words.
Following your lovely suggestions, I introduce you to the Ron and Hermione Milestones Contest!

Because it's not enough for us to know that Ron and Hermione kissed, got together, got married and eventually had kids, for this contest you will have to pick one of the given milestones that they reached together (as a couple) and show us how it happened.

The milestones are:

First date
Proposal
Wedding
Birth

For this contest, we accept: Traditional and Digital Artwork - Comic - Fanfiction and Poetry - Photomanipulation with stock images

The idea, as I said, is that you pick one of those key moments and bring them to life. In any case, the chosen prompt must be clear and has to depict that exact moment: if you pick "first date", it should be clear that it's the first one and that it's a date. If you pick "wedding", it cannot be about a double wedding, only Ron and Hermione getting married, or proposing if you choose "proposal". If you pick "birth", it has to be the birth of Rose and Hugo, not an OC, unknown kid (in this case, it's not necessary that you draw Hermione giving birth; you can draw or write about the moment before or immediatly after the birth).

You must be a member of the group.
Your submission must be new: any work published before this journal entry will not be accepted.
In your submission description, you have to put that the work was created for this contest (and link, if possible).
All entries must be submitted to the Current Contest folder.
You may create only one entry for this contest.
Theft is forbidden. You may not use any copyrighted images or somebody else's work. Photomanipulations must link to all the stock images you used. Also, you may not submit old works on behalf of other people.
Rating of all submissions must be kept suitable for teens, 13 years and older, which allows some violence, minor coarse language, and minor suggestive adult themes. That is so everybody can appreciate your hard work and vote. Meaning: it can be G, PG or PG13.
Regarding quality, lenght and such: Sketches, bad scans and works in squared paper or similar are not allowed, but visual works can be Black&White or lineart. Stories must not be under 500 words, and preferably beta read (you can find more about beta readers here). Poems might not consist of less than three verses.
Other pairings and characters may appear in your entry, as long as it is still centred around Ron and Hermione. Also remember that they have to appear together (your work cannot depict only one of them, but you may use POVs in the case of fiction).
